Ted AKA Neil Ratcliffe has been DJing in various night clubs across the south west Since 1996, with residencies at the once infamous candy fountain in Stroud playing along side the likes of Graham Gold, Rob Tissera and Lisa Lashes.

 

As the scene changed so did Ted's choice of music moving from (what is now) old school, techno and house to Drum n Bass where he enjoyed a year long residency with 00Rude Promotions "Reality" night where he played along side the likes of NickyBlackmarket, DJ Hype and a host of top MC's.

 

He later went on to promote his own club night with DJ's Giddy and Jamie Rainbow! Eventually Ted realised that he needed to produce his own work to gain real recognition within the music industry. this led him to produce with SSAW a 10 track album used exclusively for Peak Viewing Television and film productions.

Ted later moved to Bristol and has played a number of underground and Free parties while establishing himself within the local scene.

 

Ted now a founding member of Label7 finds himself hosting the main room for all the Function nights @ T2 and special label7 presents nights @ The Trinity Centre.

 

Ted is also now working on a solo Breaks project and a collaboration with Dirty96. Nowadays a typical Ted DJ set will focus heavily on the funkier side of breaks and acid house with an emphasis on dirty bass lines and squelchy acid tones! With just about every dance music genre in his record box and a wealth of experience of playing to different crowds you can be sure whatever the music policy for the night is, Ted will mix it up and rinse it out with a top energetic experience and turn tableism style.
